I thought it included the surge protector. Description showed multiple plugs.

It leaks. Water breached in. Doesn't seal.
Correct usage method is quite important for waterproof performance of this box. Please wrap up the cord with rubber seal and place the box parallel to the ground. Do not submerge the box in water or bury it.
